The season ended earlier this week so it's time to view how my rewards ended up again. I went back to my usual pattern of collection silver chests until the last few days of the season and move up towards gold rank to end the season. My luck with packs isn't as good but I still think the season ended well with a decent amount of epic and legendary cards added through my reward chests. I like the pattern of fighting in Silver and it's weird to see the last few days in gold rank make up a decent chunk of my focus points towards the rewards. I think the last 2-3 days accounted for 1/3rd of my points over the season.

Season Rewards

I was comparing the rewards but it looks like I did get less in fiat value compared to the previous season, but the variety of cards is a lot higher. I didn't even get a rare card and it was just some common foil cards. I got the usual potions, SPS, and merits too. So I guess my chance at rewards isn't that much better but I expected fewer potions, SPS and merits because I was in Silver for most of the season.

Gladius Packs

I ended up with a legendary card but it's too bad that this card is a duplicate. If I get another one of these card, I can get a level 2 version of it but I don't think legendary cards happen very often. I have only gotten 2 legendary cards so far from gladius packs and I think my luck isn't that great.

SPS/GLX

I thought that SPS from battles would have quite a large difference for battles but it doesn't look like that. I think the win rate offset any SPS gains that I did get for fighting in gold all of last season. The chests did drop off quite a bit and that was the reason for most of my difference in SPS earned during the season. Brawls is slightly lower because my guild didn't do as well.

My pool rewards for the season is 92.403 and I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards. I am taking profits off the GLX airdrop that I am getting and I have yet to figure out exactly what I will end up doing with that. Cards are cheap though so I do plan on buying some cards later and improving my chaos legion deck.

Conclusion

Overall, it wasn't the worst season but I wouldn't mind getting more packs instead of cards. I did get a large variety of cards from my season earnings and it's always nice to get some epic or legendary cards from my chests. I did get fewer SPS, merits, and potions due to my lower leagues though. I am still following my previous strategy of staking more SPS and just take some profits off the GLX airdrop. I saw a CLP token update and it looks like we might be getting 3 packs and 2 promo cards if we can reach the 50% discount. Make sure to have an even amount of tokens to get the correct number of packs/promo cards.
