Splinter Stats Season 57 Report Card

Well it looks like the card statistics are still offline but I kind of expected it to be so given how focused the development team is on the Chaos Legion packs, SPS and other features in the game. This tool is still good though to see how my plan in Splinterlands is going. My primary focus on the game is still just to do the daily quest everyday for the rewards chest.

It seems like my performance is similar to previous seasons with around 200 matches played. I am happy since my win ratio is still above 1 so it means I win more fights than I lose. It really has been getting harder to win fights over time with the new rental market in place but I have seen that it is a little bit more easier recently. It probably has to do with the rental market being a little less active as the reward pool drops.

There were a few more cards this time around but less high DEC drops in my chest. I got nearly double the cards and it included an epic card so I am quite happy with my earnings.

The amount of DEC I earned off ranked played is around half of what I got last season. It has been quite noticeable to see that even in the current season, the DEC rewards I get from ranked battles haven't recovered as much. I do recall hearing about a few people spinning up a few bot networks to collect DEC and maybe quest rewards so I wonder if it is related.

I never went around to fixing my rentals and it looks like some of my rental prices no longer match the high prices. This is probably related to what I mentioned above about the ranked battles giving less DEC. So renting a card might be a loss given the current reward pool. I'll have to make some time and update their prices next weekend if I remember.

With almost 1k SPS, I am quite happy with what I got this season. It's more than what I received last season and I think it's because DEC price has dropped somewhat so my airdrop points increased. Being part of the DEC/BUSD pool, I did migrate over my liquidity from v1 to v2. I am not sure if v1 liquidity is still being considered as part of the airdrop so I would convert it over to be safe.

On a side note, chaos legion presale has been announced. Based on your SPS staked, you will get vouchers and you can buy into the presale with it. I think it's a great move since even people who don't want packs can sell off the vouchers to those who do. With my current SPS, I believe the math makes it out so I can get a little over 1 voucher a day since I have staked all my SPS so far.

Splinterlands has grown quite a bit over the past month. In fact I saw a post where they stated that the user count has tripled or so but I don't recall which post and by who. However it does look like a great way for people to get started with play to earn games.
