This is the report for the new rewards system and it's time to see how well I did this time. It takes more time to get in enough fights to get the focus chests, but I think we get more in the number of chests. I will have to wait till later in the report to see whether or not the rewards were better.

Match Report

Performance

I did way more fights than I did in the previous reward system and it's over double the number of fights. Although I did so many fights, I did manage to get a ratio of over 1. So I am pretty happy with how well I did in my fights. It's also much harder to get on a winning streak and I wish they lasted longer because it really helps in getting focus chests.

Rewards Report

From what I see, my rewards are higher under the new system. With the number of chests I got, my cards and packs did not change from last season. I also earned way more DEC from chests compared to the previous system. It does look like the DEC earned from ranked battles are suffering though because I did double the fights but earned around the same number of DEC from ranked battles.

So it looks like there will be a heavy reliance on your luck when opening the chests to see whether or not you get better rewards than the previous rewards system. In a way, you can earn more now in Splinterlands but you have to put in way more work.

🟣 Rental Report

As I expected, my rental income suffered a lot. I did pull some cards off the market as I gave it some time to stabilize. At least, when I wrote my rental report last week, I believe it has rebounded and the market has definitely changed. Either way, this is a dip in rental income as people adapt to the new system and I expect it to be way better in the next report.

⭐ SPS Report

I didn't collect my SPS on time so it's less than before. However, it won't be long till the SPS airdrop ends. So I might have to just rely on the staking rewards. I should be claiming more often but I keep forgetting as I spend more time doing fights in Splinterlands for the new rewards system.

The new rewards system has proven to give more rewards for the first season than the previous rewards system. However, it requires more work and I did twice the number of fights I did in the previous season. It didn't show that much more in rewards but the DEC from chests does add a decent amount to the rewards I get from the season. The rental market is changing and I gave it up while the players or bots got used to the current system. Either way, Splinterlands has plenty of earning opportunities and I love how well it's all going.
