bound to be rejected a million times

words so cheap and not 

cleanly made to the point

that not even the Dollar Store

wants to sell these words

Dollar Stores need Dollar Store poetry

Better to sell this than

frozen food too high in sodium

These dollar store words

need a home!

They may be rejected and they may 

be cheaply made but they are

words that are trying to 

make new deformed elephants

There are no pretty roses here

but they are the words of the 

dirt trying to rise up and be

something

Why dash the dream?

It's trying even if it might

not be worth five dollars
