iruur1 - It is an absolutely terrific spin off, of Blade Runner. It is as if you were looking at a slice of life, out of the culture depicted in that move. An example of what other depraved people do in that future to get by. The story is super simple in plot construction, is original, and an innovative derivative of that genre.
No dialogue, from the onscreen actors. The dialogue is part of the finely layered production value, which is the star of the show, backed by seamless, steady competent, believable acting, all the way through. Because I do not like myself or the People visualizing a future of depravity destructive to us, I would not want to produce one of these, if I could, or recommend it as a fulfilling satisfying entertainment. But because I love well produced fantasy, especially outside of Hollywood mainstream distribution, it is a great diversion. If you are already up to speed on psyche ops and are visualizing something a bit more practical as a future, no reason to miss out on how the programmed robots of the world might be visualizing things, and have some fun doing it..
As a diversion because it is short and well done, I might sit through other ones and pay a buck or so to do it once a month if the plots are as good as this, and vary a bit just to see how other people get by in that blade runner fantasy.

Perhaps they will produce shorts on other themes as well. A good media production team to follow and share, just to encourage great indie production in general if Sci Fi isn't your thing.
I hope more real indie production will lead to movies, where the culture of the future flows a bit more naturally, rather than stagnates in hopelessness and fear. I'm visualizing that, still looking for my movie. Guess I'll have to write one.

I just found this baddass short film. It’s definitely inspired by Blade Runner and the Cyberpunk aesthetic. It was crowdfunded. We should support this kind of stuff instead of these companies that just keep remaking and rebooting shit https://youtu.be/uyn0cLCMKsM
