Turning scars of the past into something we can be proud of!

Growing up I was never taught how to deal with traumatic experiences. In life things happen and we are inevitably effected by these things. I have always carried those internal wounds around with me. A type of baggage that you can't see, but weighs us down never the less. Through artistic endeavors like painting, writing, crafts and the like, I've discovered a valuable life lesson thats not being taught. I can harness my pain and my harbored resentments for use in productive ways. I focus on my pain for instance, then I allow it to flow through me. My normal choice of medium is writing. It's almost bizarre that the words usually just flow, as if they were automatic writing. The emotion flows out and onto the pages almost as if by Magik. I have purged that which has been so hard on my psyche. That which weighted me down for so long and went everywhere I went. That which effected me and hurt me in ways which I know not, yet I see them later as I cast my consciousness back. Those emotions which hampered me, have became my liberty in ways that have the potential to resonate with others when they need it most. To be there as a light in the darkness, to shine the way through when we feel hurt or alone. I feel honored that my experiences are out there. That they have infinite potential. That I can transmute my pain and suffering to the "gold" of the psyche, so to speak. I am human, and as such I make mistakes. Sometimes I make them several times a day. If my life lessons can help someone else find their way through a difficult period in their life. Then I am humbled to be of service. All the while purging my pain to empty my cup. So that it can be filled once again with the love that we all so deserve.. Thank you all, I love you.

In an ever stress filled world. How can we heal?
In an ever stress filled world. How can we heal?

Most of the 8.4 billion people on the planet live out their lives in constant fight or flight mentality. Stress is very real, yet we're not taught the tools to heal from past events. And these events are a big part of how we interact with the world at large. Shouldn't we be given the tools to transmute this pain and heartache into something positive and constructive? I think so, and if you agree then this blog is for you...
