"Two Platforms"

Lately, I've noticed two crypto blogging platforms that share(ed) these common characteristics:

Dictates how and when you post.

Gives high stake members plenty of leeway regarding their own posting and voting behavior; while crushing low stake members for the same behavior.

Tells members how and when to upvote and downvote.

Leaves platform policing to roving bands of downvoters, instead of instituting changes to its algorithm.

Truly behaves like a bone fide "Old Boys Network".

Of course, I'm referring to the now defunct Uptrennd and the current, Nazi-like HIVE.blog.

Believe me, I KNOW.

I've been a HIVE.blog member since its inception.

And recently, I've experienced and witnessed all the above nastiness during the last few weeks.

Note: I saw the sword of Damocles clearly hanging over Uptrennd well before its demise. Could history be rhyming again?
