The Brave r/BATProject subreddit has posted a post saying that it supports multiple crypto wallets using Brave Nightly.
The screenshot shows the names Ledger and Trezor, which are supposed to be integrated with the wallet of the cloud-based financial services platform Uphold.
The platform provides the passage of KYC by users interacting with BAT tokens.
From the moment Brave opened the BAT token withdrawals received in the form of rewards, users began to ask if new options would appear other than using an Uphold account.
The most common complaint in the Brave community was the lack of integration with the popular MetaMask and MyEtherWallet wallets.
Despite the addition of additional wallets, the use of Uphold will remain mandatory for now, as one of the Reddit users confirms:
Only after verifying your identity using Uphold Brave will send BAT to your Uphold wallet, then you can withdraw funds to any crypto wallet that supports Uphold. I repeat, you will not immediately see BAT in your Uphold wallet, before that you will need an identification.
At the same time, CEO and co-founder Brendan Eich considers cooperation with Uphold to be the right decision, as this is confirmed by the growing number of publishers and users. However, he does not exclude the introduction of new user-friendly solutions.
