Well, today in an announcement it was indicated that Gemini and Brave have partnered to facilitate users to buy, sell, store and obtain crypto when they use the Brave browser. This integration allows Brave browser users to interact with cryptocurrencies through the new Gemini Trading Widget in a simple and secure way. Gemini Trading Widget is now available in the nightly version of Brave, and will launch in the general Brave release in the coming weeks. "Gemini and Brave said.
The news comes three months after similar partnerships were established with Binance and Binance.US. Brave's native token, the Basic Attention Token (BAT), appears on all three exchanges.
Brave appears to have increased his focus on crypto in recent months. Last week, it partnered with the Japanese crypto exchange BitFlyer to develop an encryption wallet for users.

With this starting today, users of the nightly version of Brave can access the Gemini trading widget (the "Gemini card") from the New Tab page of the Brave browser to seamlessly trade any crypto assets listed on the exchange. Gemini, as well as view balances and access to your Gemini account and deposit addresses, all without leaving the Brave browser ecosystem.
Additionally, Brave verified content creators can safeguard their digital assets in a Gemini creator wallet. That means Brave creators can receive their BAT payments in their Gemini creator wallet or any other trust or crypto asset supported by the Gemini exchange.
The San Francisco-based browser maker raised $ 35 million in less than 30 seconds through an initial coin offering from its BAT token in 2017.
The Brave browser delivers ads to internet users and rewards them for their attention with the basic attention token (BAT). In April, Gemini announced that BAT was available for trading on its platform.
Gemini, the custodian and cryptocurrency exchange for the Winklevoss brothers, recently obtained a security rating, SOC 1 Type 1.
Gemini is a New York-based trust company and will be able to offer this service in all U.S. states except Hawaii.
Passing a SOC 1 review means that Gemini's financial operations and reporting controls meet the requirements established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Basically, the review showed that Gemini is able to mitigate the risk of significant error, omission, and data loss.
Basic Attention Token (BAT) is a revolutionary digital advertising and rewards platform from the inventor of JavaScript and co-founder of Mozilla & Firefox that rewards users in Ethereum-based BAT tokens for any ads they choose to see. BAT locally matches ads to users without any tracking or data collection required.
How to use the Gemini commerce widget
From the Brave New Tab page, open the Gemini commerce widget or select "Add Card" and choose Gemini if it is not currently active.
Then select "Connect to Gemini". This will ask you to log in with your Gemini credentials or to create an account if you don't have one.
I have been following this project from the first days, shortly after the BAT initialization contract. The only thing I've been oblivious to or haven't seen updates to is the third-party integration API to allow other applications to advertise using the BAT network. Is it still planned and is there any update on a release for this in the project roadmap? It seems this is the last important step for further adoption of BAT compared to its usefulness in Brave.
Thanks for reading have a great day 🤗
