As of December 22, 2020, after the SEC announced their lawsuit against Ripple, quite a few crytpo exchanges, including Conibase, Bittrex and Bitstamp, announced their XRP delisting, creating more FUD and selling pressure.
Recently though I read on twitter that Grayscale has added up to its fund some 12 million XRP which doesn't make too much sense when you think of the situation Ripple is in right now with the lawsuit.
Just a few minutes ago Bittrex came with the announcement on twitter that it will delist XMR, ZEC and DASH on Friday, January 15th and basically giving no clue on why's doing that...
I get the XRP delisting, but what about the three ones, what have they done bad? From what I know XMR is a privacy coin(don't know much details on the other three ones) and probably the American government has prepared a crack down on privacy coins as well...
What the connection between the XRP delisting and the other three ones mentioned above might be, I have no clue, but it's interesting to say the least. I don't remember the last time I read of XMR being delisted by any exchange anyway...
The only winner seems to be BTC in this whole crypto crack down. For more details regarding the announcement, not too much of course, you can read in here: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054393492-Pending-Market-Removals-01-15-21.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
