The master shiller of DOGE has once again hit it with his occasional pumping tweets. Calling himself "Former CEO of Dogecoin", Elon Musk is known to once in a while throw shilling tweets regarding Dogecoin to his millions of followers on twitter.
He's done it with BTC as well, but tbh Bitcoin doesn't really need that at the moment. There are enough large investors who pump it through their large chunks of BTC purchases such as Grayscale, Microstrategy and PayPal as well, PayPal which is actually co-founded by Musk, is actually offering retail the chance to buy BTC through the app, but doesn't hand the private keys unfortunately.
It took DOGE less than an hour to pump, after its former CEO, Elon Musk tweeted about it. He even pinned come for the comments, stay for the memes tweet. Well, dogecoin is indeed a joke coin based on a meme, but you know what, it pumped like crazy today. It started the day at $0.00395 and hit a local high of $0,00465, sitting now at $0.00442(19 sats).
That's 12% price appreciation on the daily and I'd say all of the growth came after Elon tweeted about it. Elon Musk has quite a long history with shilling DOGE and my bet is that he owns some. I also have the feeling that he owns much more BTC than he claims he has and that he's not that indifferent towards crypto as he tries to look like.
It all started today from this tweet: "Bitcoin is my safe word" followed by "Just kidding, who needs a safe word anyway!?" and "Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money" while painting the picture with his own BTC meme...
But you know what, nobody pumped or dumped BTC after the tweets, nor did Elon took any actions proving that he really considers fiat money as bullshit, but he managed to make the good old Doge move his tail. You can bet on that.
I don't own any DOGE and despite the sarcasm that it benefits from more technical than I folks in the cryptosphere, and its never ending inflation, it's a working project. It has a strong community, fast speed and very low fees and it's been around here for years.
Yes, it's a meme, a jokecoin, but it's Elon Musk's favorite one and it can make you money if you follow Elon's tweeter and are fast enough to buy it when he shills it, and dump it just an hour or so later. Unfortunately I wasn't following Elon lately and even if I did, DOGE has pumped while I was sleeping...
Bottom line, DOGE is Elon's and one of my favorite coins and it feels nice seeing it get some love today.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
