Drunk Lotto - New Game to play

It all started about 2 weeks ago. I was thinking I wish there was a game I could play with my family over the holidays that was fun and stupid simple and was a drinking game. I didn't want the boring Beer Pong or something similar. I wanted a fun card type game where everyone playing was involved at every turn.

I soon figured out it would need to involve Lottery scratch-off's and the winner or winners should get to keep the tickets and then see what they win at the end of the game.

So today I give you "Drunk Lotto". The rules are pretty simple for anyone to play. If you want to play this game then feel free to copy and paste the instructions and print it out. I printed out 3 rules and then used the self laminating pages to make them more sturdy. We had 8 people playing in our game.

Items you will need:

Lottery Tickets (I got 50 $1 tickets, which was perfect for our 8 person game)

2 dice (or 2 die? idk)

Rule Cards

Preferably a circle table to play it on

Guidelines are as follows:

Everyone will sit in a circle with a pile of lottery tickets in the middle called “retirement”. The game is played with 2 dice. Everyone rolls the dice and the person with the highest number goes first. The game starts going clockwise. Play, drink & fund your retirement bitches!

Dice Rolls

2. Skip your next turn or take a shot

3. Steal 1 ticket from a person of your choice

4. Take 2 tickets from retirement & skip the next person or they can take a shot instead

5. Everyone gives their tickets to the person to their left

6. Take a ticket from retirement

7. Take a ticket from retirement & everybody takes a shot

8. Take a ticket from retirement

9. Everyone gives their tickets to the person to their right

10. Choose someone and take ALL their tickets

11. Put 1 ticket back into retirement and reverse direction

12. Put back all your tickets into retirement

I put some thought into what number rolls should be taking a ticket and what should be shots. Here are the probabilities for rolling 2 dice if you want to see the odds yourself.

You could also play with $1 bills or something similar. But the lottery tickets is fun because even if you had a pile of 20 tickets you could win nothing and the person with only 1 ticket at the end could win big.

Here is how I printed out my Game Rule Card
