BitTorrent (BTT) - What is it?
It is a token that was launched in year 2019 by the BitTorrent Foundation. This token was created after the acquisition of BitTorrent Inc. by the founder of Tron - Justin Sun. The total supply of BTT is 990 Billion tokens.
Where can we use it?
BTT tokens can be used for a variety of services. For instance:
- A Service requester can pay with BTT to receive more bandwidth.
- It can be used to pay for decentralized storage service
- Users can pay for decentralized proxy service that allows requester to retrieve contents over URL
What is the current price?

The price in 2019 was as low as $0.000427 and is current priced at $0.006728 (25/04/2021 3:59 pm). This yields a return of around 1475% over 2 years. This is what I find fascinating about BitTorrent coins - such an amazing performance over the last 2 years. With that said, I have a feeling that the price of this coin will be much higher by end of the year 2021.
Another thing that I like about cheap coins is that we can buy in large quantity and a slight raise - even of 0.01 cents will result in a good return.
