What is GoMining?
GoMining is a cloud-based Bitcoin mining platform that has been running continuously for over 5 years, making it one of the most established platforms in the space. You purchase virtual miners measured in terahash (TH/s) and earn Bitcoin daily, with electricity and service fees automatically deducted. Available on PC, Android and iOS.

Bitcoin opened at $64,720 on Thursday 16th July, down 0.4% from Wednesday's opening price. Sentiment is neutral to cautiously bullish, with Bitcoin up 4.03% over the past week, though momentum cooled after testing the $65,471 resistance level on 15th July. Institutional flows remain a headwind with $4.13B in ETF outflows over 30 days. For passive miners none of that changes anything — the hashrate kept running regardless. How the fees work
Every week I do a small swap from BTC to GMT to cover my maintenance costs — roughly 13 GMT per week at current prices, costing around $3.68. This keeps my GMT wallet topped up and the fees covered automatically.
One thing worth mentioning — the 24.99% maintenance discount doesn't just run on its own. You need to log into GoMining every day and press the Service button to keep your streak active. It only takes a few seconds but it's important — miss a day and your streak resets. It's the one daily task this whole setup actually requires, and honestly it's worth it for the discount it unlocks.
The beauty of this system is that it compounds automatically. Every satoshi earned that isn't spent on fees stays in my wallet and accumulates over time. As my discount grows, my effective fee cost drops further — meaning more BTC stays in my pocket every single day.

Understanding the fee structure — GMT vs BTC
My maintenance fees are priced in GMT tokens, not in USD or BTC. When BTC rises, GMT tends to rise with it — meaning I need fewer BTC to cover the same GMT fee. The 24.99% discount I've built makes this even more favourable. Rising BTC is almost always good news for this setup, not bad.

The Flywheel Strategy — A Smarter Way to Grow on GoMining

The core idea is to build a Flywheel. Set your maintenance to be paid in GMT, reinvest into GMT, and lock it for the maximum 208 weeks. The target is 360 days locked and 140 days unlocked — a total of 500 days. Under 500 days, reinvest in GMT. Over 500 days, reinvest in TH or BTC. Simple, rules-based, and it works.
