Pertsev has been in jail for about 105 days now and ironically Dutch law allows someone to be held without trial in custody for up to 110 days, but since they labeled him "a flight risk" they are nevertheless extending his detention yet again and is now to remain in jail till February 20th 2023. He hasn't been allowed contact with the outside world ever since his initial arrest, including with his direct family. At least with this latest announcement they actually mentioned the charges for the first time: Money laundering.

Like, how? How was he laundering money? Have weapon manufacturers in the Netherlands been arrested as well for every crime committed with their creation? Have developers of the the internet and browsers been arrested as well for enabling people visiting all those forbidden sick websites? Have central bank managers across the globe been arrested as well for their role in printing cash money and enabling money laundering? Have ....ahhh the hell with it, everyone knows damn well these charges are as stupid as it gets. Who was the prosecutor, some work-release program candidate? Someone who got the job solely based on practical experience in dealing with the law and the criminal mindset because he/she used to be one? This is just dumb beyond belief and they are purposely making things difficult and as inconvenient as possible for him on charges that will ultimately never stick. They can't, I mean, do these degens even have the slightest idea what the implications would be if Pertsev as the developer of an open source software was convicted for what a third party i.e. "North Korean hackers" did?

And what's with this "no outside contact allowed" farce? Reminds of how the political savages in England try to disappear Julian Assange and didn't allow for any media reports or even any pictures of him on his wedding day. Another fine example of hoOMan RaiGHtS.
