These two projects are a hot topic amongst traders of all types these days.
Defi is hot. Binance and Coinbase have reported a massive increase of online traffic in past weeks. There is more institutional buying recently in a very long time. With that being said, I will get to it.
Part 1
This is a brief description of the first project. A game changing technology.
ATOM is a ecosystem of independent blockchains and consists of two major components. 1) The Tendermint protocol and the Inter-blockchain communications protocol. The Tendermint is a wonderful open-source base layer which facilitates blockchain development and enables anyone with an application to integrate their own decentralized network into the fold.
2) The Inter-blockchain communication layer does what it says, it enables communication all the individual chains and creates a collection of interconnected zones and hubs that work independently sharing a common architecture. The importance of this layer is to facilitate token, data and digital asset exchanges across chains seamlessly. Cosmos aka ATOM is the first project to have developed this technology which in essence TOKENIZES transactions. Cosmos uses POS consensus and has numerous partnerships and some serious funding behind it.
1.03 billion dollar market cap and 238 million dollar avg. daily volume to be exact and offers a sweet 10%-10.5% annual staking yield. Not many banks offer this number to my knowledge. This is a project that competes with Ethereum and Tezos minus the gas fees.
This is one of my picks primarily for the 10% reward that is paid to me in increasing increments daily. I've been holding this crypto for a little over a year. The key thing are its fundamentals, the market cap and its volume which provide the ability to liquidate if need be. The development team are on their toes and have a challenging road map that they seem to be working hard at. Atomic wallet supports this coin and allows you to delegate your holdings without ever leaving your wallet or control. I have gained about 18% return with the combination of uptrend in price and staking in about 14 months which I am very pleased. My particular strategy with this asset isn't a short term one but more of a long term hodl.
