Sunday Thoughts - is it right to use crypto to bet?

Betting on something, whether it is a sporting event or an asset's target price, has always been present in human history, since there has been a value for things. There is that sort of adrenaline in being able to win something, to be able to win against someone and earn victory. First, men bet using objects, then traditional money and now, with the advent of the Blockchain, using cryptocurrencies, thanks also to a certain anonymity that they guarantee.

But is it right to bet with Bitcoin?

According to my experience, for several years now, in which I want to be honest with you, I have lost money and only few times I have earned money, judging negative or positive betting is subjective. For many it is wrong, for others it is right, for me, you should only bet what you are able to lose, not all your capital. You have to put a limit on both winnings and losses and respect it. When you do not respect your rules, I agree with everyone that simply betting can be called a problem and must be addressed.

As for the online game, the rules exist and we can put them, through weekly and daily game limits and through monthly top-up limits, which I recommend to all, beginners and veterans. I started writing reviews on sites that are using crypto as a currency to bet in order to guarantee anyone who wants to try to be able to choose the best and most suitable site for their needs, but I always recommend to set limits and respect them.

Having said that, cryptocurrencies are a new monetary standard and for me they represent the future. If they want to take the place of traditional money, they have to invade all sectors, including betting. I also lost a lot before understanding how to do and what not to do and I would like to hear what you think about it too. Even though bitcoin has not been designed for this, do you think that the betting industry can represent a springboard for the use of blockchain and its recognition as a currency?

I concluded by reminding everyone of the importance of life, beyond money, and the knowing how to set limits and respect them, otherwise, do not be afraid to ask for help or share your experience, even with me, in the comments section below.

Have a great!
