I recently stumbled across the blockchain game Neon District and decided to give it a chance. Quickly I learned that I needed to understand all the new terms and skills if I was going to be successful in this venture.

The first set of unfamiliar terms I came across where the names of the classes in Neon District. Like in most other strategy and RPG games, ‘classes’ refers to the job and ability-set of the character. In Neon District you begin with a free character and enough resources to create three more- enough for your first team of four.

The classes in Neon District are:

Heavy- A strong and sturdy character whose stature can impact the emotions of others
Demon- A combat specialist that relies on speed and dexterity
Doc- Not surprisingly, these are the primary healers. They also specialize in the Nano skill
Ghost- These are assassins who excel at clouding their opponent’s perception
Jack- Jack’s are hackers that can manipulate probability
Genius- Naturally, they are highly intelligent. Geniuses are the mad scientists of Neon District

To defeat environmental objects in the game, there are several skills that will prove beneficial. These skills are:

Nano
Stealth
Tactics
Mech
Hacking

And finally, to round out the stats in Neon District we have three that are pretty standard and don’t require explanation:

Attack
Defense
Health

Neon District is still a new game with a lot of expected growth. To start your journey, it is essential to understand these basic attributes, skills, and statistics. After all, delivering pizza is not a job for the faint of heart.
