In a much-anticipated move, Guild of Guardians minted the assets from their first round of NFT sales last night starting at midnight (EST). The process was overwhelmingly smooth and buying and selling of assets began right away.
Major congratulations to the Guild of Guardians team that worked tirelessly to make this happen and provided a significant amount of transparency throughout the entire process. Kudos as well to the Immutable team for making this onboarding a success and for working with the Guild of Guardians team to accomplish this significant feat.
This is a major win for blockchain gaming in general as blockchain technologies are growing, adapting, and becoming more and more mainstream. The future of gaming is upon us, and Guild of Guardians and Immutable are leading the way.
As of the time of this article, the largest trade for Guild of Guardians assets sold for 3.3 Ethereum, an ‘elite’ legendary Kharkuk, Chieftain of the Deadlands. The assets minted and currently trading on IMX are from the Guild of Guardians first-round Founders Sale. With a few exceptions, these assets will never be sold again and they are of a limited supply. As the project grows, demand is expected to continue to increase.
It is an exciting time to be involved in this crypto-space and to be gamer like me.
