Guild of Guardians: Introducing Spartans

By Bayrd | Future of Gaming | 20 Nov 2021

Guild of Guardians is a mobile RPG where players can turn their gaming passion into assets. It will be a multiplayer, fantasy, action RPG where players build their dream team of ‘Guardians’ and compete in a guild to earn epic, tradeable rewards.

Not surprisingly, guilds will be an integral part of the Guild of Guardians. While players do not have to join a guild, doing so will unlock additional modes of gameplay and earning opportunities, like crafting and raiding.

Guilds, in Guild of Guardians, come in many shapes and sizes with the smallest guilds having space for 20 members and the largest allowing up to 50. There are many considerations one must make when deciding to join a guild that go beyond the number of players. This article is the second in a series of articles showcasing specific guilds. Learn about your options, find a guild whose vision you align with, and join them! After all, gaming is more fun with friends. Today, I interviewed the Guild Master of our third guild, Spartans’ Beduino Albino.

Guild: Spartans

Maximum number of Guardians: 20

Guild Founder: Beduino Albino

What is the significance of your guild name?

“We don’t need numbers to be the best.”

What is your vision for Spartans?

“I want it to be a place where people can have a sense of belonging. Where everyone feels welcome and that they are an active part of the group, knowing that their voice and opinion will be heard. And of course, a place where people come to hang out and have fun.”

What types of guardians are you looking to recruit?

“Looking for guardians that are as hyped with the game as I am, and that want to understand the game mechanics, theorize and strategize together. That is actually something that I’ll be expecting from the members, that they actively bring in ‘knowledge’ and add to the group.

Do you have any requirements for people looking to join?

"I’m looking for people who are active and committed to the game. I’m looking for people who want to actively participate, that want to understand the game mechanics, discuss what are the best strategies, etc. People that will truly be a part of the guild.

I’m also looking [for] members [that] have at least a few NFTs. Not looking at rarities or big investments, but I believe it is important to have a certain ‘balance’ so every member is comfortable that all the other parts are committed and contributing."

Each individual makes the whole.

There is also a real opportunity for a Brazilian/Portuguese guild. Brazilians are one of the three largest nationalities in the Guild of Guardians community, yet there don’t yet seem to be Guilds forms around that demographic. As of this time, all present guild members speak Portuguese.

Are you actively recruiting?

Currently there is only 1 spot left, that I expect should be filled pretty soon. However, everyone is welcome to our server (even non-Portuguese speakers), and who knows if, prior to launch, new spots won’t open?)

On a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being extremely casual and 10 being incredible hard-core, how would you rate your guild?

6-7

Is Spartans currently involved in anything while we wait for game launch?

I wish to promote discussions regarding the project, organize some events so we get to know each other better and, in the future, we plan to do some sweepstakes and giveaways.

What 3 key words would you want people to associate with Spartans?

Honor
Respect
Tradition
