Guild of Guardians is a mobile RPG where players can turn their gaming passion into assets. It will be a multiplayer, fantasy, action RPG where players build their dream team of ‘Guardians’ and compete in a guild to earn epic, tradeable rewards.
Not surprisingly, guilds will be an integral part of the Guild of Guardians. While players do not have to join a guild, doing so will unlock additional modes of gameplay and earning opportunities, like crafting and raiding.
Guilds, in Guild of Guardians, come in many shapes and sizes with the smallest guilds having space for 20 members and the largest allowing up to 50. There are many considerations one must make when deciding to join a guild that go beyond the number of players. This article is the first in a proposed series of articles showcasing specific guilds. Learn about your options, find a guild whose vision you align with, and join them! After all, gaming is more fun with friends.

Tell us about your guild name, is it significant?
The guild structure and name refer back to the Romans. Each title within the Guild is a nod to the theme as well. During the reign of Augustus, the Pax Romana was established. It was roughly 200 years of relative peace within the Roman Empire where there were no major wars and the Empire enjoyed stability. Since then, we have had the Pax Britanica and the Pax Americana. Now, we have the Pax Custos.
What is your vision for your guild?
Pax Custos, as the reference suggests, seeks to be a place of peace and stability. But also, as the name suggests, we want to extend our influence outside of our guild house and enjoy stability with and among other guilds. Our founding principles are trust, respect, teamwork, and the idea that we all win together; no one gets left behind.
What requirements do you have of anyone joining the guild?
Pax Custos is looking for members that really connect with our guiding principles. Every decision of the guild will be based on them. We expect to win, and we will win together. Your attitude matters a lot more than your assets. If you are committed to playing hard and often, you have an attitude of respect and acceptance, and you understand the value of teamwork and cooperation, then Pax Custos may be for you.
Are you actively recruiting? And if so, about how many members are you looking for?
Pax Custos is currently recruiting if you feel you meet the requirements above. We currently are looking for roughly five more members. We are running an open house in our guild Discord where potential members can meet and interact with the guild. Ultimately, the guild leadership votes to determine membership.
On a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being extremely casual and 10 being incredible hard-core, how would you rate your guild?
We fall in right about a 7. We play to win but, as part of a team, we understand that things happen.
What is Pax Custos doing now, before the game begins?
We are mostly involved in theory crafting and building teamwork. We are proud to include more than potential guild members among our current members, including members of the game development team and guild leaders from other guilds. We are an open community that seeks to strategize and learn about the game together.
