Audit giant KMPG quietly settles a 1.3 BILLION dollar suit for negligence in their audits of Carillion, an outsourcer.  Bonus funny - one MP says he would not trust KPMG to audit the contents of the fridge!!!  Extra funny:   KPMG ALREADY paid over ten million for deliberately misleading regulators!!! 

First the FT says the Britcoin would NEVER be programmed to control Brits.  Then they print maybe it could / would / should!! Now they print letters cheering for it!! Imagine Joe Bloggs tries to buy more beer, but he already hit is quota that month!! YAY!!! Oh dear heaven help us all. 

ahhh the FT IS a lovely paper.  John Cleese is rebooting Faulty Towers!!! YAY!!! We love John Cleese, tho the FT calls him 

Tho the FT calls John "curmudgeonly" as he is not sympathetic towards snowflakes, tho the FT doesn't say it that way ar ar ar !! A great story: the cast & crew of Fawlty Towers we freaking out because no one in the studio audience laughed when they "The Builders" episode.  It turned out the BBC had invited a boatload of Icelandic guests who don't laugh at much!!! Great closing paragraph TLDR: yes baby yes!!

Online?  One measly story came out a few hours ago.  Dear readers might perhaps guess the topic!! Could it be Marsha marsha MARSHA??? Oh yes it could.  The FT freaking LOVES FTX!!! TLA!! TLDR: the usual copypasta.  FTX was one of the biggest financial frauds in American history!!  That's just a lie.  The US part of FTX was basically solvent, nothing much stolen, not much news there.  The FTX that lost ten billion was the greatest fraud in Bahamas history!! maybe. 

Even if we count FTX as Merican, it is STILL not one of the biggest ( & Sammy's bond was not the biggest) that's all lies.  The BIGGEST financial  frauds in Merican history??  Enron sent 17 execs to JAIL, and piffed 78 billion in 2001 money, that's 1.3 TRILLION in today's money!! More if you look at inflation like they did then.   Madoff stole 65 Billion starting in the 1970's, calling it 1980's money means that was 236 billion today.   Sammy had ROOKIE numbers in the Tradfi corruption world, don't you forget it!!  He needs to go 100x to match Enron!! 

The story does give us more sad pics of Ellison and Wang.  ITLDR: it IS funny, the feds did not tell Sammy that two of three of his top execs had turned state's evidence until Sammy was already in business class, having fled from the notorious Bahama jail system.   

It's NOT funny,  Caroline is all "oh, I knew it was wrong" but she did not do or say CHIT until the wheels fell off.  So ya DIDN'T know it was wrong/. Or, ya just didn't CARE, more likely.  

Even less funny - well, sort of funny, Caroline TOLD the feds Sammy loves to use VPN's and encryption.  Yet the Feds left him to steal ANOTHER 200 million from Mom's basement!! AND THEN try to witness tamper while pretending to watch the Super Bowl encrypted1!1 AH HA HA HA HA!!!   We could forgive the unforgivable move by the Feds by saying only telling Sammy he would get to go to Mom's basement got him extradited.  But no, .  ar ar ar !!! 

Ooooooh baby!!! How bizarre, how bizarre.  

We love ya crypto people!! It IS really funny that the FT won't say JACK about the latest rise of BTC and crypto market cap!! Only blathering about Britcoin!!  So that means we are all caught up!!!
