They will loudly trumpet Quant Tightening selling while trying to unload 95 billion a month of the giant stash of bonds from themselves that they sold and then bought back ( did they ever really sell them at all then?? )
But the QT doesn't matter that much. It's pretty funny, the Fed BOUGHT (eased!!!) 157 billion in just six weeks as "liquidity" operations !! So, at just that rate --- it will take - forever, never, still adding debt ar ar ar !!
Plus there's the 450 billion Treasury account with the US that WILL go up, plus theres the Fed's Two and a Half TRILLION reverse repo window!!! Plus with rates up, the Fed is dishing out 200 bn in interest!! Stealth QE is ALREADY live, it's not a 2023 thing!!
The REAL story: it's still all true, the BTC premise: Gummints CAN"T give up loose money!!!
