Tldr: this is a rehash copypasta pile of agitprop. Even tho tradfi thefts dwarf crypto, the FT trumpets yer again that crypto thefts are growing!
Oh ha ha, crypto is only for wild gambling and for buying drugs! We have a grammatically incorrect quote from failed Haskell programmer Stevie !! Stevie sez exchanges are purpose built for criminals!!
Buried in the last paragraph, crypto did good for Ukraine.

the Real story: this story includes none of the real utility of bitcoin saving the people in fiat challenged regimes. The story claims crypto was created to thwart regulators and therefore was made for crime. This is SO false, crypto was created to provide sound money, and every btc can be tracked. Two out of five FUs.

Dear readers know we love that pink newspaper but boy howdy does the FT despise crypto--- it's funny. The old guard always fights the new guard. The FT does it eruditely, with misleading comments, fun graphs, and outright lies (usually) attributed to crypto's greatest enemies!
