The Intercontinental Stock Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), said in tweete that it has added a number of new coins to its Cryptocurrency Data Feed.
Launched in January 2018, the Cryptocurrency Data Feed offers real-time currency information, including prices and orders. The platform was developed as a result of the partnership between ICE and Blockstream.
According to a recent announcement, ICE extends the list to thousands of supported coins. Thanks to this step, the company is allegedly planning to increase transparency in the cryptocenter.
In February, ICE also announced that the launch of Bakkt is planned for the last quarter of this year. This platform, which we may finally see, has already attracted many well-known investors and partners, including Starbucks and Microsoft.
What Tim Draper talked about in 2017 can soon become a reality. Coffee and burgers for cryptocurrency come soon - so the words of this visionary and investor, who is a huge advocate of virtual names. Starbucks seems to be able to take this step soon. However, this is not at all as simple as it might seem. Starbucks has reached a certain share of the upcoming Bakkt platform, provided that in 2019 it will allow its clients to pay in cryptocurrency. But as Starbucks does, it is not clear at all.
