Did you impatiently click on John McAfee on Twitter to find out who Satoshi Nakamoto is? Of course not. Every sane man knew that McAfee would sooner or later recall his promise, which he had only lost a week ago.
Everything started last Thursday with a series of four "tweets" in which McAfee explained to his followers that he had decided to reveal the true identity of the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is hurting when various fraudsters (such as Craig Wright) appear as its creator. At the same time, McAfee has promised to reveal more and more about the real Nakamoto on Twitter until Satoshi reveals himself (or does it for him).
But the fairy tale ends. McAfee posted a post on Twitter yesterday that explains why he can't unveil Nakamota. "Request for (my) release from the Bahamas is coming. I encountered Maria Gray, my lawyer (read his letter in the attached picture), who warned me that revealing Satoshi's identity could affect my process and risk my release (to the US) at this time. I can't risk it. I have to wait."
A funny conversation for Bloomberg
Before John McAfee (by the way, who wants to run out of asylum to the US President) decided to end this farce, he still had a special conversation for Bloomberg, in which he said some really funny sentences:
“People forget I'm a technologist, one of the best. All my life I searched for the people who are best at hiding their identity. Finding Satoshi was very easy for me. I talked to him and he wasn't at all excited to reveal him. ”
So McAfee's promise to reveal Nakamota's identity is at least for a while. However, his claim remains that Bitcoin will reach $ 1,000,000 by the end of 2020. If it does not, it has its own penis in national broadcasting. Currently, it is 584 days away from this suffering, for which the Bitcoin price must grow by $ 994,389 (at the time of writing).
