Coinbase, the cryptocurrency exchange, has announced on its blog that it will distribute 1 billion Stellar Lumens (XLM) tokens, which is currently more than $ 105 million, to customers willing to study the Stellalar protocol and spread it further.

WARNING: The $ 105 million is indicative. The current price of one XLM is $ 0.106, so the current price is more than $ 106 million. However, Coinbase will not give out dollars, but XLM tokens. Thus, at a time when they credit XLM customers to their wallet, it can be both higher and lower.

This step is part of the Coinbase Earn project, a currency exchange training program to encourage people to learn more about cryptocurrency , which should lead to their faster adaptation.

However, the bad news for our readers in Slovakia and the Czech Republic is that they must be US residents (yet). The first $ 10 in XLM can get after they get an emiail invitation (first they have to sign up for a waitlist), watch videos about Stellar Lumens (5 videos together with a total time of about 13 minutes) and handle the final quiz.

An additional $ 40 in XLM can be earned as a reward if they invite through the referral line to complete this process of their friends and acquaintances, who then also watch Stellar Lumens videos and complete the quiz.

Even outside the US have a chance
Coinbase tells customers outside of the United States not to despair, because they can also come to them. Stellare tutorials can be viewed in the same way as US citizens and can also sign up to the waitlist (on the waiting list). Coinbase will then contact them if the possibility of obtaining XLM tokens is extended beyond the US.
