Possible Quick Fix when: ETH not Received on Binance from Publish0x (Self-Service Recovery How to)

By AX17 | figurehowtowrite | 19 Dec 2023

When withdrawing ETH from Publish0x many things can go wrong but in general, it should be possible to fix them, if all details are entered correctly.

In the following scenario, I describe what to do when ETH is not coming to Binance, despite doing all steps properly (step-by-step tutorial how to withdraw from Publish0x I wrote here). Specifically, is about using the self-service recovery service on Binance to recover your funds.

First you want to make sure the sent was done right - for that you can refer to Publish0x tutorials or my previous post with images and all steps.

Next, you receive a confirmation that your withdrawal was received (photo 1 bellow), followed by withdrawal approval confirmation (photo 2 bellow):

Now, follows a waiting period, depedning on your timezone and day of the week, you will wait more or less. But, rest assured that Publish0x did send the funds right as you requested.

What can happen in this scenario is problem on the Blockchain, wrong details input by user or problem on the exchange side.

We offer possible solution fix for the case when funds did not arrive on the Exchange (in this case Binance).

Next is to make sure that all was processed and sent by checking your ETH address on Optimistic EtherScan and also its hash rate. To do so, get your address where funds were requested to be sent and check it on ether.io:

As soon as the information is available to you, and can confirm via ether.io that the transaction was fulfilled or sent properly, you want to head over to the exchange and check if the deposit arrived. In case it did not, for this scenario is suggested to use the self-service recovery service on Binance.

From Binance Deposit Dashboard --> Go to section "Deposit hasn't arrived?"and click on it:

Select the Self-Service Recovery option to initiate a manual recovery request for your not arrived funds:

To file the request, you will need the TXtID (the one we used above on ether.io check), paste it in the request form:

After clicking submit, you will see a notification saying your request will be checked and manually processed within a few (1-5) business days. Upon completion, your funds will manually be approved and appear on your Binance deposit balance, basically you will receive the funds and see the progress of your request looking smth like that:

Now that funds are finally available in your spot account, you can enjoy them - either trade or stake them, or whatever else you need to do.

I think this process is the easiest way to retrieve lost funds, but many other situations can happen, and will be happy to document them as I go, when I encounter them.
