Get comfy in the Splinterlands crypto game
A lot of people want to get into crypto gaming, but they are afraid of having to invest a lot of money before cashing anything out of it. Often, more is better, and while this is the case with Splinterlands, someone who is just starting out does not need to invest much to get prepared for a long run. If you have $40 lying around, that's all it takes to secure your growth.
My idea is grabbing the most basic and strongest cards of each splinter, except for death splinter which sucks at lower ranks without the expensive Haunted Spirit. I am talking about tanks. If your team doesn't get squashed in the first couple of rounds, then you might be in for the win. All you need to do is spam the same cards for your daily quest over and over again until you get it.
But that means you also need these listed Neutral monsters. That's because they provide with all the aggression you need to speed up your daily farming needs. Because they work for every splinter, it's easy to build your teams. Just place the chosen splinter's tank and fill with neutrals. Yes, you won't win that many games early in the decision, but you will have a very easy time overall across both bronze and silver league.
Of course, this is not true for leaderboards or tournaments. This is only worth it if you're limiting yourself to playing up to 25 ranked matches a day and claiming dailies. Now, you might think, "but this doesn't give me enough collection power to reach high silver!" What you need to do from here on is sell your reward cards that are worth more than their burn value, and then spend your newfound dec in cards you buy for nearly their own burn value.
I.e. you sell a card of burn value 40 for 70 dec, then spend 70 dec to buy 6 cards of 10 dec burn value. You just got 30 extra collection power "for free".
That's how you grow a lot faster without needing to worry about summoners and whatnot, because when you do get lucky with your daily rewards, you'll be able to farm even at the Gold III level with only very few additional cards. Later into each season, of course, when the more powerful people have already gone up. Eventually, you'll get there much sooner, since your own collection will have grown stronger.
This is all much more easily accomplished using peakmonsters.com which you have to try out. Get used to it, because it makes your Splinterlands life that much easier. After spending this initial sum on cost-efficiency and summoners, you'll be set for a long time! Getting your money back will be much easier if you write cool stuff about the game on Hive and social media then submit it to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge for a $2 reward, twice a week.
A lot of this makes more sense if you've already purchased your starter account!
