Every month is bringing something new! Cryptospells is a Trading Card game fresh out of the oven from Crypto Games Inc. You'll notice something quick, just like MyCryptoHeroes, Cryptospells is primarily a Japanese game. This is MCH's goal with their MCH+ Developer Program. Build a local high quality base of Japanese games before branching wider with different series and styles.

Cryptospells seems to be pulling it of, with over 600 ETH of cards sold on the 1st day of their sale and some hitting a price of 30 ETH. (Source) There is limited English support both on discord and the website but without too much trouble it's rather easy to play. With detailed and interesting artwork combined with a straightforward approach in gameplay and mining this looks to be another solid entry into the TCG lineup.

Cryptospells Gameplay

Gameplay is pretty simple at the moment. Each player has 25 life and gains 1 mana a turn. After choosing one of the 5 available heroes and a "Special Ability" that can be used once each game the match begins. The goal is to reduce your opponents life to 0.

The abilities or effects are all easily recognizable if you've played other trading card games. Players can draw up to their hand size limit of 10 and players can only have 7 creatures on their side of the board at once.

Earning New Cards + 20 Free Packs

It's pretty hard for new players to win without some of the better Bronze low drops. Fortunatelly you still get 40% points per loss and the first 3 matches each day have a 5x Multiplier, win or lose. You'll also get bonus points for using all bronze cards!

Tier wise, Lich (Black) seems to be the strongest, (2) for -3/-3 is very strong removal to have on hand especially against someone like Och (White) who lacks any removal or buffs at all. If you manage to build a top tier deck it's probably best to swap to Och and benefit from the extra points she has per win usually.

Opensea Support is coming in July. Only silver cards can be taken on chain. Bronze cards are in-game only, just like the novice items in MCH. This is a pretty good time to get in and mine before any sets or cards are gone forever.
