Remote work means doing a job from home or any other place by using internet. People don't have to go at workplace for doing work. Remote workers can communicate with employees through video calls, calls and other ways. Remote work is not just a trend which people follow nowadays but remote work become a part of their life because of increasing inflation. People trying to find work from home as people also work im their offices and work places but people find remote work because they need to cover the expenses. Remote work is a good facility for people but work from home also has some long term effects too at different level.
How remote work effects employees??
Employee's can be more flexible in remote work because employee can do work at any time and also it'll reduce expenses of transportation too which are too much high nowadays. But with these advantages there's a disadvantage too as companies can hire people from any part of the world. Companies don't need to hire people from the same city while people can work from any area.
How remote work effects on companies?
Remote work is helpful for companies too as companies can find more talented people to work in the company but there will be not any physical interaction between employees as physical interaction is important part of the job. For companies, there's no team work in remote work and communication among people are less too as compare to the physical jobs.
What about those job which needs to done physically?
There are many jobs such as doctor, engineering, shopkeeper, actor and other jobs where you need to go to the work place because you can not check your patients from home, you can not give thing's to people from home. Such jobs require direct connect with patients and costumers which can not be done online. Remote work can be helpful for the offices which prefer online working system but in life we need physical jobs.
I don't think so, that remote work is the future because it can not be the future, people can not replace some jobs with remote work, although some jobs are flexible to done at home while some need you to get out from the home as jobs need your presence at workplace. Remote work can help you to earn some extra money at your free time but you can't simple depend on any online job.
I have discussed it with my friends here on Hive that although we worked on Hive Blockchain but we can not pay our bills with these Hive payouts, for paying bills we have to find a proper jobs, Hive is also a part of remote work but we can not depend on it as just like Hive is flexible and so remote jobs are flexible too to provide you enough. Hive shows that online platforms can gives an opportunity to earn extra money, but online jobs may not be enough to compete a better physical job.
Final thoughts!!!
In future maybe people start to do more work from home but still people need to have a job which is physical and physical job is best for both employee, companies and general people. Both physical Jobs and remote work can be work together but running a system alone is not a good idea as this could be like 50/50. Both types of work could be a part of future. We can not say that only remote jobs will be future.
