It's been a while since I started playing Alien Worlds. I got to say I still love it. Sure its a daily grind but playing a game that can earn your some NFT's is always fun. And stock piling NFT's to use for the Thunderdome is great too.
I have switched gears a little bit and every NFT I get I put directly on rplanet to "mine" some Aether. There new game went live today at 10AM Central Standard Time. I have been able to save up 10,000 Aether before the start of the game. There is a reward for being one of the 1st people to create a new element which is what I am going for.
Back to Alien Worlds. For a time I was using the Power Saw, Infused Extractor and Standard Drill. I got a lot of TLM per mine but I was not getting any NFT's anymore. Since I sit at my desk all day long I can mine constantly throughout the day so I switched back to 2 Standard Drills and 1 Standard Capacitor. It let's me mine every few minutes and I get some TLM for each mine.

Here are my NFT's that are being staked in rPlanet:

I was selling my extra Grey Peacemakers on the market for 1 WAX and every once in a while someone would buy a couple of them. I decided it was better to keep them and stake them for now. That way they can earn my passive income (Aether) instead of just 1 WAX on the spot. And once Thunderdome get released they may come in handy and it will be easy to unstake them. Also I assume Minion and Weapon prices will increase once the Thunderdome is active and people want more fights.

Part of the reason why I love Alien Worlds is that the level on effort for entry level is next to none. All you have to do is sign up for the game and then click 'Mine' and 'Claim'. And that is it. You will earn TLM and NFTs over time and it gives you time to learn more about the mechanics of the game while you obtain more and more NFT's. I know that it is because the game is very new still and hence there are not a lot of features out for it. But it is also why I love getting in on games early because come 1 year from now or 2 years from now all the extra features and mechanics to the game won't feel like too much like it may to newcomers.
I do hope though that Alien Worlds can keep the bar low for new players. The one thing I don't want to see if it become a Pay to Win type game where there were so many whales who gobbled up all the land and Rare NFTs that new players don't stand a chance. But that being said I feel like since you can already trade your TLM it will kind of be like Prospectors (if the in game gold was unlimited) where new players can do little tasks to earn a little gold and then trade it out. While the people playing forever amassed this huge collection and are making a ton. Only time will tell though so keep your fingers crossed that this game will stay fun for everyone.
I wish that the developement team puts in a rule that only 1 account could own say 5 pieces of land. I don't not want to see just a few people own the majority of the land and then they price gouge us regular players and we don't stand a chance while they earn all the TLM from us doing the work. I mean that would be the best passive income but it ruins the game.
The rplanet game is live and lets just say... you need a LOT of Aether to play. I thought I was going to be golden with 10,000 Aether, but boy was I wrong. From what I can gather about the game is that you need to buy 4 elements and combine them to create a new Element. At the time of writing you can buy from 4 Elements Air, Earth and Fire. And to buy just one costs 10,000 Aether. (However I was unable to buy one even though I have 10,000 Aether the call function wouldn't approve it would just sit there).

I would assume once you have 4 elements you put them into the Generator and combine then. It appears that combing the elements costs 0.24 WAX and you will receive 480 Aether. I do know that the 1st people to create a new element get some limited edition NFT from rplanet. If I was a betting man I would guess that they Reward and Cost of the Generator is going to fluctuate over time.

What is also interesting is that you can go to the All Elements page and see the currently 57 listed Elements. I don't know if those are ones people have created already. Because by my math if there are 4 basic elements and if you can use them more than once (like combine 4 fires and 1 water) that would give us a total possible amount of 256 Elements. So it would make sense that 57 have been created out of the 256.
Here are the ones that I believe are already created:
