Yesterday I was late so I postponed the morning walk to the evening. Everything seem to look different but familiar.
The weather was fine and the last light of the day lets the clouds seem to be more interesting.

I decided to go a little other way as usually.

Not too far away was the old church I mentioned in my last "Walk to the river" post.
and a bit closer...
After that picture I had to move a little faster due the mosquitos seem to like me. So I continued my walk to see the castle in the distance.
It's good to see from the bridge as well.
Sometimes you could hear some people playing or singing near by the river.
I did not realize how late it was. But the moon remembered me.
The other side of the bridge. Here you see barrage of a little lake.
The bridge a bit closer: Thanks to the lakes the Ruhr (river) has enough water!

This tree was the last picture of my walk... I hope you enjoyed it...
I took all photos with my Canon 5D and some different lenses. This is the first time I tried a wide-angle lens for some pictures.
The links below show the other parts of the little "Walk to the river series" and a visit to Bochum (city).
