Hi, last week FuThemen published a post with some nice photos, which are different. He mentioned, that sometimes you take a photo which is often taken by different people, the same way. First i was wondering "did I have such photos?" The answer was not so surprising: Yes I've made some of that "take a picture that way..." photos too. But not all photos were taken that way, so I accepted his challenge to show some different photos. I took them a while ago with different 'cameras'. All photos were taken in Bochum, a city located in the area around the river Ruhr, called Ruhrgebiet (in germany).
Let's start with with a view out of a roof-light. The sky was cloudy and the sundown painted the clouds in dramatic colors. Even the tree seems to throw the clouds away...

The next photograph shows a church near the downtown of Bochum. It's located by the Jahrhunderthalle, a location for congresses, concerts or theater acts. It is surrounded by a nice park where ruins of it's former use, a steel company, are left. I was there in winter time and had luck with the light. The title image of this post is also taken here.

A few steps aside there is an old factory building. With the sun in the back the windows, they seem to be made of gold. Luckily there are not broken...

Let's take a look to a skyline of Bochum. It's not a common view. Instead of the large buildings it shows the goods station near the main station. This photo is a experiment due to it's taken with a cell-phone.

The next photo is only one mile away: More rails. In this case it's a road to the downtown, with rails of the local tram. This photo was taken 2019 with my other cell-phone, while i was waiting for the tram. With nearly no one on the street it seems strange familiar to the current times. But then it was only late in the evening...

One old building in Bochum, which is often forgotten to mention, is the ruin of the sylvester chapel in the near of Haus Weitmar. A ruin of a old royal house in earliest medieval times. It's also situated in a nice park.

The next picture was taken only some steps behind of the old chapel. It shows a nice field in autumn with an power pole on it. But the "difference" comes there nearly by accident... Right above the power pole is a stain! Is my lens dirty again? Oh, it's only a airplane!

The last two images for this post showing some animals. A little mouse, with beady eyes, eating a nut.

And a bird. Maybe it misses the nut?
