With these two pictures, I am caught up again.
Day 24: Fairy

I love this one. I think something went a little wonky with the back of his hair, and his legs may need to be larger compared to his arms and torso, but aside from those things I am super happy with this. I have been trying to use shading rather than simple lines to delineate body contours like the division between the left and right pectoral muscles, or the upper and lower arms, etc, and I think that practice is starting to really pay off.
Day 25: Tempting

I am very pleased with the individual parts of this one. I love how the face came out, I like that the cloak and hood seem actually wrinkled and hanging, and I am downright proud of the hand - it's funny how I can sort of feel it now when a hand is really gonna look good, even when I am still drawing it. Have to learn how to cultivate that sensation - maybe I can wag the dog a little there. However, Something is off with proportions or foreshortening or possibly both, so that her face is WAY too big compared to her hand and the apple, and her arm is too short or bent funny or something. Still, I think this is a worthy member of the list of beloved childhood characters that I have drawn this Inktober.
Thanks for looking at my pictures!
