Hi everyone,

As a child I created a fascination for animals (especially birds) and for nature and this carries on being an adult. I really enjoy travelling, visiting countries, cultures and trying to capture animals in the wild with my camera and also beautiful nature scenes like mountains, hills, cascades, etc. Capturing a unique moment or something special gives me a wonderful feeling.

This is the first time I am going to show some pictures and hopefully you will like them. Please give me feedback for improvement, because I am new in writing.

This is the famous Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a Frigate bird in the background. I was close to the Corcovado and this Frigate bird was hovering around it. Luckily I found a way to capture both the bird and a close-up scene of the head of the Corcovado. This is one of my favorite pictures.

This one was shot in Foz do Iguacu, the famous waterfalls that are found in a triangle of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. The toucan was in the forest area of Argentina and I got very lucky to capture this one. You can take a little train to go to the upper side to visit the waterfalls and you can take the train to the way down as well. Another option is to walk. I went up by train and when I wanted to go back down, there was quite a waiting line for the train so I decided to go walk back down. This was compensated by the beautiful toucan ! Thank you for the waiting line !

This is also a picture at Foz do Iguacu and shows a very small part of the magnificent waterfalls and a cute butterfly that decided to follow us for quite a while. It seemed almost meant to be to get a beautiful picture out of it. I am going to create a separate article soon about Foz do Iguacu, because for me it is one of the most beautiful places I have visited in my life so far. When I was surrounded with these giant waterfalls I felt really small and as well very lucky to be able to visit such wonderful nature.

Lencóis, Chapada da Diamantina in Brazil. This picture shows a branch of a big tree with two small cactuses growing out of it. I found it so unique, that I needed to capture it.

This photo was taken in Gibraltar on top of a mountainous area with a beautiful view over the sea. There were quite some monkeys around and I managed to take a very interesting picture of this little family with the sea behind it and the blue skies !

All pictures were taken with a Nikon Coolpix P310. This is not really a fancy camera to tell you the truth, but I really like this camera. It makes beautiful pictures in my opinion and it is small and handy to carry around. One day, when I have enough money I will buy an expensive camera with great zoom and quality, but for now I stay with this one.
