How to listen Youtube in background and completely without ads on your Android?

Hello guys, this is new post in which i will share with you 2 ways how you can listen to Youtube with screen locked. It's been a long awaiting option on Youtube to listen music without being in the app. Now this problem has been solved with Youtube music premium but if you don't want to pay monthly subscription for that i will show you not 1 but 2 ways to do this.

1. Youtube Vanced link       77dc036b8786f1a29f4e636ba747beacddae99865635272c8313f85b90782e45.png

This is the app that looks almost exactly as Youtube android app. I prefer this option over the second one.

So, what exactly is YouTube Vanced?

YouTube Vanced is a modified version of Google's YouTube app that adds features and tweaks to make your YouTube experience better!

Such things include:

  • Background playback
  • Custom themes (normal dark, OLED black, bright pink, or sky blue)
  • (Most) ads are gone
  • Override max resolution
  • And much, much more

You can download it from the official site or the mirrors. Links to which can be found in the wiki.

Installation guide:

1) Go to the official website and download MicroG and Vanced (should come in a .apks file).

2) Install the SAI (Split APK Installer) from the Play Store.

3) Install MicroG like you would any other APK (click on APK file > click “install”)

4) Open SAI, select the .apks file you downloaded (if you have a file with .bins, use a different, non-Firefox browser to download it)

5) Click "install"

Note: if SAI gives you an error stating “App is incompatible”, select the “legacy” architecture when downloading the .APKs file. If you get any other error, check the FAQ for the specific error.

2. Brave Browser link    453c5d26ee21615211f1f74b5172b7d4e8beb5c2473bb3ec3b380875df15089a.jpeg

This is the easier way. But, in my opinion it's less practical and i like the Youtube Vanced interface much more. You just need to go to playstore or to Brave official website and download the mobile browser. After you've done that just go to Youtube webpage and press the play button. That's it. It's really easy, and if you want to open all Youtube links in Brave just set it as default when you get the notification.

I hope this will help someone and save them a couple of $. In the next post i will show you how to convert and download whole Youtube playlist at once so stay tuned.
