I have always known that Coinbase has a Learn and Earn program that dishes out free cryptocurrencies if you watch some videos on a new crypto and answer pertinent questions on it. But inertia possessed me and I just haven't gotten around to submitting my passport photo to pass the KYC verification. Hence, this prevented me from benefitting from this program as I would be put on the waitlist.

Today, I decided not to procrastinate anymore, so I sat down and submitted my passport photo. Just for fun, I clicked on the lesson on Loopring. I was pleasantly astonished that I could do the questions straightaway. There was no waitlist hurdle that I needed to overcome. Thankfully, I had already come across an article by Seven-NATE-nine that revealed all the answers to the Loopring quiz. So just like that, I earned S$2.02 worth of Loopring in the blink of an eye!

Immediately, I decided to try out the convert function. Would Coinbase allow me to convert this paltry Loopring into my desired Dogecoin? Without further ado, I pressed click. 

Lo and behold! The system allowed me to do so. So I was about S$5.50 worth of Dogecoin richer!

Next, I wondered if I could transfer this newfound Dogecoin to Gemini so that I could deposit it into the Gemini Earn program. So I just did it. 

Lo and behold again! There was no minimum withdrawal limit I had to meet. I think there was a transaction fee of about 60 cents in Singapore currency, but well, it was a fee I gladly paid for the exhilaration of stepping outside my comfort zone and embracing something new!

So I added about $4.40 worth of Dogecoin to my Dogecoin account in Gemini Earn. No doubt, I was happy about this unexpected windfall - pathetic as it might be - but I am elated by how I made money out of nothing! Also, I could add one more strategy to making cryptocurrency: Do the Learn and Earn lessons in Coinbase!

Hopefully, my KYC process would be completed soonest by Coinbase staff so that I could tackle the remaining lessons on The Graph and Compound.
