Madre Island Palace on Major Lake has been opened to the public since 1978, its furnishings come from the various Borromean family houses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
There are a multitude of porcelain and livery, family paintings, tapestries and canopy beds in baroque style.
Part of the palace is dedicated to the puppets of the Borromean home that involved them with friends and servitude in the mid-17th century.
It was built in the 16th century on the ruins of Saint Vittore church/cemetery.
All shots are mine! Thanks for watching and reading, a big hug and see you soon!
