Santa Maria del fiore Cathedral
Stunning cities like Florence have something special, as you wander downtown streets you feel a certain energy given above all to its magnificent buildings, churches and secular monuments. It had never happened to me to visit it after the sunset, in my humble opinion, with darkness as a frame, it manages to acquire a greater charm compared to daylight hours.
Ponte vecchio
Cross its narrow streets between buildings, admire the Ponte vecchio, go to Piazza del Duomo next to the baptistery to find yourself in front of the amazing Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and a little further in front of Palazzo Vecchio, which it is crowned by the splendid Neptune fountain at its feet, so enchanting moments that I find almost indescribable.
Palazzo Vecchio
On the other hand this city is so beautiful that it gave birth to a syndrome, that of Stendhal, whose discovery dates back to late 1980s, when tourists from North America and Western Europe had different symptoms, including hallucinations, euphoria and manifestations of ecstasy after visiting the wonders in the Tuscan chief town.
