I took this photo while ago at the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, dating back to the V-VI century, inside you can find the Baroque altar and frescoes of the XV-XVI century.
It was completely restored in 1687, the bell tower you see is made up of six superimposed registers marked by hanging arches.
The domed spire rests on an octagonal lantern and is covered with copper and surmounted by a cross with a wrought iron rooster.
The day I saw her was perfect about clouds, a touch of suggestion suitable for the contest organized with passion by @tobetada.
Unfortunately I was unable to visit it inside because I was with the guys from the community in which I work.
A quick shot for the contest and then some steps around the village which is located at 900 meters above sea level and has just over 2,000 inhabitants.

Questa foto l'ho scattata qualche tempo fa alla Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, risalente al V-VI secolo, al suo interno si può trovare l'altare barocco e degli affreschi del XV-XVI secolo.
Venne restaurata completamente nel 1687, la torre campanaria che vedete nella foto è composta da sei registri sovrapposti scanditi da archetti pensili.
La cuspide a cupola poggia su un tiburio ottagonale ed è rivestita di rame e sormontata da una croce col gallo in ferro battuto.
La giornata nella quale l'ho vista era perfetta per quanto riguarda le nuvole, un tocco di suggestione adatto al contest organizzato con passione da @tobetada.
Purtroppo non sono riuscito a visitarne l'interno perché ero in compagnia dei ragazzi della comunità nella quale lavoro.
Uno scatto veloce in occasione del contest e poi quattro passi in giro per il paese il quale si trova a 900 metri di altitudine e conta poco più di 2.000 abitanti.
