Star Atlas was definitely the most talked about game of the year and I would say it didn't disappoint. This augmented reality game runs on the Solana blockchain, this is possible thanks to the great scalability (very low fees and 50,000 transactions per second!).
The game is set in the year 2620 and there are three factions fighting for interstellar dominance. There will also be a DAO. The launch will take place in 2022.
From what you see on the website and in some promos, it will be possible:
1) Create crews
2) Explore space
3) You can customize the spaceship
4) Fight
5) Conquer planets
There will be two tokens: Atlas and Polis. Atlas is the token with which it will be possible to buy NFT (Land, Characters, Crew, Spaceships, etc). Polis, on the other hand, is the governance token that can be earned by playing. There are also posters on their site (possession of which will give benefits within the game).
Was the IDO a success?? Star Atlas broke the record for the highest rise, following the presale, achieving an 85x rise. The IDO took place on FTX, Apollo X and Raydium. The total supply of Atlas is 36 billion while the total supply of Polis stands at 360 million. The expected circulating supply upon launch is 2.16 billion for Atlas and 21.6 million for Polis.
Initial token price was of $ 0.00138 for Atlas and $ 0.138 for Polis.
