Blast started the trend but its "native yield" model could be imitated by other protocols. The first to follow his example was Manta Pacific (an Ethereum layer2 that uses Celestia's modality on Cosmos Hub, a modified OP Stack and zkEVM). Modularity will allow fees to be lowered and multiple blockchains to be connected to each other with a high level of security. Manta will allow you to deploy contracts and ZK applications.
This Manta native yield has been called "New Paradigm" and has big investors behind it: the founder of Polygon (Sandeep Nailwal), Binance Labs, Celestia, Polkadot, Optimism, etc. Basically what you have to do is bridge ETH or/and USDC ( you have until January 2024), you will receive STONE ETH (liquid version of ETH on Manta) or wUSDM (if you bridge USDC). Bridged funds will be blocked for 69 days. Below is a summary table with the native yield characteristics on Blast and Manta. Manta seems to be better, however we don't know how much supply Blast will give to its community.

What are the benefits?
1) Native yield on ETH and stablecoins (after 24 hours, you will receive STONE and/or wUSDM proportional to your deposit. If you bridge 1 ETH you will get 1 STONE)
2) These assets can be further rented on LayerBank or other platforms on Manta Pacific
3) Earn Box Pieces (based on what you bridge). The higher your deposit, the more boxes you receive (they will make up a special NFT which can then be resold)
4) Earn Penta and Manta tokens (airdrop) in January 2024. There is talk of a 5% supply (I think another part of the airdrop will be given to those who use the chain). You can get your ETH or zUSDM back in 69 days
Manta, born a few months ago, has a TVL already above 50M dollars, over 8M transactions and around 180 projects (some already born, many under construction). This Layer2 has been under construction for 3 years and has raised over 80M in funding from VCs such as Polychain Capital, Coinfund, Qiming Venture Partners.

You can find 6 rarities of NFTs. The 2 rarest ones sell for 0.1 ETH (Fixed High Yieds) and 0.5 ETH (I didn't receive it). I found 2 of 0.1 ETH and then the others of lower rarity. You can sell them on Element Market. I found multiple copies of 5 out of 6 rarities and sold them all. I only left 1 copy of each rarity. I earned around 0.23 ETH. By spending $25 in fees. Absolutely not bad.

If you want to participate in the Manta airdrop and take advantage of everything said before, you can use one of these links (please remember that using the link without bridging ETH or USDC will not guarantee you any airdrop. Use the link only if interested in bridging):

What you need to do is have ETH or USDC on Ethereum Mainnet on Metamask and then bridge them using one of the links above. Obviously you will have to pay around $15 fees from the Ethereum mainnet. I think it's a very beneficial thing so that's what I'm doing. However, you should do your research (DYOR) because the post is not investment advice.
