These are some of the protocols I'm farming in DeFi to receive airdrops. I'm not a big fan of points campaigns, but many protocols have shifted toward this narrative. What will we see? xStocks (NASDAQ partnership), which has updated the points system and added some interesting features; Soneium+Startale (a chain and platform in which Sony has invested). For those unfamiliar with airdrops, they're essentially free money: you interact with a protocol, and in the future, you'll receive free tokens that you can sell for BTC, altcoins, stablecoins, or fiat currency. The size of the airdrop can range from hundreds of dollars to millions of dollars (depending on a variety of factors).
TOKENIZED STOCKS: XSTOCKS (NASDAQ)
The first protocol is on Solana and involves tokenized stocks: xStocks. I've already talked about it in the past. The new development is that points have been active for a few weeks now. Simply log in to the xStocks website, activate your points by registering your wallet, and then receive points based on your holdings. You can buy any Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, etc. Points are also distributed for daily access (no fees apply):
1) Boost every day by logging in to the website.
2) Daily GM (maybe this feature could be removed).

SONEIUM CHAIN+STARTALE
Soneium is the Sony company's chain. Startale is the co-developer who's always connected to them. I have to admit that Soneium has me a bit tired because the quests have been going on for 9 months (9 seasons). Okay, they're not expensive ($1-2 a month), they're not long (you waste 2 minutes a day), but they're dragging on too long. We users know we want airdrops, so free money.
If you have on-chain funds on your Metamask, simply transfer ETH to the Soneium chain ( Relay Link ) and then start farming. The gas token is ETH. The transaction fee is less than $0.01.
In addition to the quests on Soneium (first airdrop), the new addition is the Startale platform (second airdrop), which has started distributing points by completing simple tasks on their platform:
1) Daily GM (no gas fee): after 10 GM, you get 1 star point.
2) Earn Section: USDSC (no points, but 5% APY).
3) Earn Section: Star Points (funds are deposited on Uniswap; you must deposit at least $50 to earn Star Points).
Startale has received $63 million in funding. Very interesting. What does receiving funding mean? A platform/chain receives funding and will distribute its token to early investors in the future.
In my opinion, if you have to choose between Soneium and Startale, I recommend Startale. Startale is much more likely to launch the token, and Soneium could offer other rewards (the problem is that Soneium has had an active campaign for nine months, while Startale is much newer).
