How is my Telegram airdrop season going? If I had to rate it from 1 to 10 I would rate it 6.5. I have received good airdrops but others have been disappointing. Keep in mind that when I talk about Telegram I am mainly referring to botgames. These are not real games but usually tasks, card upgrades or daily logins. In this article I will report what I have earned and present interesting projects (in progress) that I am doing.
POSITIVE AIRDROP
-Catizen (money spent: 35-40$ fee, earnings: about 250$. Sold at listing for around $1.02)
-Dogs (money spent: 0$, earnings: about 80$)
NEUTRAL AIRDROP
-Hamster Kombat (money spent: 0$, earnings: about 25$)
NEGATIVE AIRDROP
-NOTai (money spent: 0$, earnings: 2$)
-Cats (money spent: 0$, earnings: 0$)
CONSIDERATIONS
For now, Catizen has definitely been the best airdrop, along with Dogs. Some people have complained about Catizen because they rewarded a lot those who spent fees. Unfortunately, those who "played" (leveling cats) without spending fees (in TON) received enormously less (at the same level) than those who "supported" the network. However, 35-40$ of fee for an airdrop of 260$ I can say that it was worth it. Dogs did not involve spending anything (apart from some social tasks) and it was a nice surprise.
Hamster Kombat I did not expect more than what I received: there were over 20 million users. Airdrop was not disappointing as they say around, simply if you give 400 million dollars to divide by 20 million users, you can not expect the 30k that Zksync gave me.
NOTai and Cats are the black flags: the first airdropped but peanuts (very little supply for many users), the second was not even bad but I never received my tokens on Bitget (I think they only distributed to those who bought the pass in TON).
AIRDROP I AM FARMING NOW!
Now, mindful of these first months I have started to carefully select the projects, avoiding those similar to NOTai. Social tasks in 90% it is not necessary to actually follow the Twitter page or retweet the post: just press on the tasks and go back (it is validated anyway). I remind you that:
1) You can easily add the Telegram wallet by searching for it in the search bar by writing "wallet" and saving the seed (then you can connect it to any bot where required or to receive tokens in airdrop)
2) You don't need to have TON, however if you want to do some daily logins (1-2 cents), you can buy it at Bybit, Bitget, OKX, Binance
Bots that I am farming:
-Blum: backed by Binance Labs, it includes simple social tasks and a minigame (not necessary) where by pressing on the screen you accumulate points (each game lasts 30 seconds). It should also be able to farm the $Dogs token. I absolutely recommend doing it by dedicating a few minutes a day: there are already premarkets on Okx and Bitget (Binance will also arrive). You can find it here: Blum Exchange (Telegram Bot)
-Duckchain: it is a layer1 testnet that will arrive on TON (that will try to connect the Telegram chain with the Bitcoin and EVM blockchains). Usual social tasks (follow Twitter pages, Youtube, join Telegram groups) and login using Okx Wallet if you want to do it. It allows you to accumulate the $Duck token. It seems very interesting. You can find it here: DuckChain (Telegram Bot)
-Vana Data Hero: usual social tasks and a minigame where by comparing 2 photos you have to predict if it is a real person or created with AI. Nice. You can find it here: Vana Data Hero (Telegram Bot)
-Drops Bot: I don't know what to expect, however, once the bot is started, all you need to do is log in daily + some social tasks. It's a tracking bot that should also launch its own Perps exchange. You can find it here: Fomo-Drops Bot (Telegram Bot)
-Binance Moonbix Bot: ok, I'm not very convinced because there won't be any airdrop here but at most some free crypto giveaways. However, I am trusting Binance (in addition to a nice minigame where you shoot from a spaceship, to accumulate points you just need to log in and connect the Binance app). You can find it here: Binance Moonbis (Telegram Bot)
AIRDROPS CONNECTED TO EXTERNAL TESTNETS
They are not native airdrops on Telegram, however some projects (testnet and not) have launched their bot, promising future airdrops:
-Nomis (on-chain identity): Nomis (Telegram Bot)
-Tabi (testnet): Tabi (Telegram Bot)
AIRDROP SEASON2: SECONDARY CHOICES
Seasons2 (these projects have already airdropped and the second season is underway):
Catizen (Telegram Bot), Hamster Kombat (Telegram Bot), Gamee (Telegram Bot)
Pros? There will be less people farming them. Cons? Season2 are usually less good. I recommend doing these only as second choices and if you have more minutes to dedicate to them.
ORGANIZING BOTS IN FOLDERS
I created a handy folder to organize all these bots, so I don't forget to log in daily. If you want to create a folder on Telegram it's very easy: settings/chat folders/create new folder. At this point just add the folders (bots-game) and save.
Time needed? I use about ten bots and I spend about 5-10 minutes a day (due to login, social tasks and some minigames). When I don't have time, I try to at least log in daily where it is available. As for fees, I deposited about 2 TON ($10) and I use them to do some daily logins (not all require fees). It is not mandatory to have TON.
