There's a silent battle raging in the minds of almost every trader.

The trader who needs the money to eat doesn't have that luxury. Every trade carries the weight of an empty refrigerator, unpaid rent, a family waiting.
And that burden, the market punishes. Not because the market is bad, but because desperation clouds judgment.
A hungry person doesn't think clearly. And the market feeds on those who don't think clearly.
That's why it's so important to understand an uncomfortable truth: if you're in survival mode, trading can't be your only source of income. The risk of ruin is too high. A small loss can knock you out of the game. And the pressure to recover leads you to make increasingly worse decisions.
It's not a strategy problem. It's a context problem.
The true luxury in trading isn't making a lot of money. It's being able to make mistakes without it hurting.
That's called margin of error. And building that margin should be the first objective of every trader starting out. Not making money fast. Not hitting the jackpot. But surviving long enough to learn.
The market doesn't know you're in a hurry. And even if it did, it wouldn't care.
It's not about how much you make.
It's about how much you can lose without your life falling apart.
When you understand that, the rush disappears.
And you start operating with a cool head.
