There's something about trading that almost no one talks about, but that almost everyone feels.
That weekend impatience.
That need to see what happened while the market was closed.
That anxiety disguised as "being attentive," "not missing opportunities," "being professional."
Traders look forward to Monday like others look forward to Friday.
Not trading also has its price.

For many, trading begins as a profession.
But at some point, without realizing it, the line starts to blur.
When does it stop being a strategy and start being a necessity?
When does the chart go from being a tool to a screen we can't turn off?
There's no single answer. But there are signs.
--
The professional trader feels the same anxiety as the beginner.
The difference isn't the emotion.
The difference is the limits.
A professional has clear rules. They don't improvise. They don't trade just for the sake of it.
Not because he's stronger or more disciplined.
But because he knows that without limits, his mind works against him.

I, for example, have a very clear strategy:
• I buy below the open, previous lows, and the 50% Fibonacci retracement.
• I sell above the open, previous highs, and the 50% Fibonacci retracement.
• I only look for entries at daily, weekly, and monthly liquidity levels.
That's not just a technical strategy.
It's a bulwark against my anxiety.
It's what prevents me from trading when the conditions aren't right, even when my mind is urging me to act.
Every professional has their own tools.
But they all have something in common: non-negotiable rules.
---
The problem is that trading is full of stimuli.
The unpredictable reward, the "almost won," the illusion of control.
For the brain, that's the perfect breeding ground for a silent addiction.
It's not like other addictions.
It doesn't leave visible marks.
But you feel it. You feel it when you can't close the screen.
When you check your phone constantly.
When you trade without a setup just because you need the click.

We're not here to tell anyone what's right.
Or to diagnose who's a professional and who's an addict.
We're just putting some questions on the table:
• When was the last time you traded without a clear signal?
• Can you go a weekend without looking at the chart, without feeling anxious?
• Are your rules clear, or do you make them up as you go?
• If you don't trade for a day, do you feel like you're wasting time or taking care of yourself?
There are no right answers.
But the questions themselves are already making waves.
---
Trading can be a profession.
It can also be an addiction disguised as discipline.
We're not going to point out the difference. The difference is made by each person when they look in the mirror.
