What is the Xiomex Simulate account?
It's a fully funded account. You trade with real money (from the company), but you pay an access fee. It's not a challenge. It's a product.
In my case:
• I accessed a $12,000 account by paying only $60 (thanks to a discount coupon).
• The conditions: overall drawdown 8%, daily drawdown 4%, maximum risk per asset 20%.
• Withdrawals every two weeks (1st-3rd and 15th-18th of each month).
• Minimum withdrawal: 4% of the initial capital.
• Profit split: 90% for the trader, 10% for Xiomex.
Sounds good, right? Well, there's a catch.

The trap: the news rule.
In this simulated account, Xiomex doesn't allow trading on days with high-impact news for the main financial assets (XAU/USD, EUR/USD, DJI/USD, SPX/USD).
The problem is that there's high-impact news almost every day.
FOMC, NFP, CPI, PMI, PPI… The list goes on.
If you trade on those days, your account is invalidated. It doesn't matter if you won or lost. If you traded on news events, you're breaking the rules.
And the worst part: they don't warn you right away. You find out later, when you try to withdraw.

Why are so many people complaining?
On Trustpilot and other forums, I've seen traders complaining that they "weren't paid" or that "Xiomex is a scam."
But when you read their stories, you discover that they didn't read the rules.
They thought the account was completely free (it isn't: you pay the access fee).
They traded on news events without realizing it.
When they tried to withdraw, their payment was denied.
It's not a scam. It's a filter. And it hurts, but it's written in the contract.

If you're just starting out, the Simulate account can be an excellent tool for practicing with real (company) money without risking your own.
But you need to know what you're doing:
• Don't trade on news events.
• Manage your drawdown.
• Read the terms and conditions carefully.
If you do it right, the Simulate account can be a stepping stone to larger accounts.
If not, it can leave you out.
