In the 80s and 90s, 4 women were killed in what is now known as the "Texas Killing Fields". Since the 70s, over 30 bodies have been found in this specific field in League City, Texas, which is close to Houston. Jessica Dimmock's documentary tells the tale of those 4 women and the investigation of who the killer could have been and this is a well done doc, which is exclusive to Netflix.

This doc is part of the "Crime Scene" series and this is the 3rd installment. The good thing about this "series" is that there's no need to watch the first 2 before viewing this, and I would recommend viewing this one before the others as this is the best of the bunch. It's wild how a lot of these 30+ murders have been unsolved, but this doc goes into depth about the lack of not only technology, but knowledge in terms of DNA evidence and what not. It tells the story of these 4 women in such a detailed way and it does them justice, even if all of them can't get real legal justice.

Jessica Dimmock is a great documentarian. She is responsible for other docs, such as Flint Town, which follows police officers around the rough city of Flint, Michigan, as well as the new doc, Thoughts & Prayers, which follows families of children who have been killed due to school shooters. She's got a keen eye in not only telling a good story, but making you feel the emotions that she wants you to feel based on the story that she is telling. If you see anything involving her, you must watch it, including this doc. It's a must watch on Netflix, especially if you are a true crime lover.
