What is Skedadle?
Skedadle is a Scottish company, formed in Aberdeen. They have developed an app where they pay you up to £2 per day for just playing games. There are some restrictions when it comes to earning, such as you need to be moving and you need to have a UK bank account as this is the only form of payout. I am not sure if they will change this in the future but for now, this is the only way to get paid. So please bear this in mind when you come to download and use the app.
When it comes to moving, this can be walking, on a train, bus or car. The idea behind this app and getting paid on the go is to try and encourage people to commute more by using public transport rather than using their own car.
They are also making it very sustainable, not only for travelling, but for uninterrupted ads. You won’t have to stop playing to watch an ad, we all know how annoying that is right? Instead they have actually integrated the ads into the background like the one you can see on the screen now.
Skedadle App
The app is available for both Adroid and iOS, it isn’t available for every country yet. I don’t have a list of the countries where it is available, but I can tell you that you are able to install the app from most European countries.
As I mentioned earlier, you need to be moving to be able to earn. If you scroll down (see pic below) you will see all the games that you can play while on the go. If I click on “Invaderz”, it will load up and you simply tap to play. The games are retro styled and personally I don’t think they are that fun to play, however it is a very easy way to make some extra money. You are capped at making £2 per day. This takes about 1 hour of play time to do and will make your travelling time much more interesting.
If I scroll back to the top, you can see my current balance here and what I have earned today over on the left. (see pic below) Minimum payout is £5 and this is very easy to achieve. Payouts are made once per month and paid around the 3rd or the 4th of each month straight into your UK bank account.
Payment Proof
I have only recently discovered this app and wanted to see if they actually paid out before covering it in an article. As you can see from the picture below, I received over £46 for my time playing games and this was paid straight into my bank account on the 3RD April 2023. The deadline for cashing out is usually a couple of days before the end of the month, so make sure you request a payout in time if you don’t want to wait another month for your money.

Summary
Skedadle is a very good app to pass the time while travelling and the best thing about it is how easy it is to earn £60 per month. It is country restricted and you do need a UK bank account to get paid, however it is suitable for anyone above the age of 11 to download and start earning. Hopefully they add new games to the app and possibly some other ways to earn, but overall I highly recommend Skedadle as a way to make extra money on the go.
